Kiss of the Dragon is a 2001 action film starring Jet Li, Tchéky Karyo and Bridget Fonda. There is relatively little wire work, unusual for a modern kung fu film, resulting in some great fight scenes, especially between Jet Li and Cyril Raffaelli, who plays a henchman. Despite Li's character being a good police officer and a surprisingly good portrayal of the Communist Chinese government, this film was still banned in the People's Republic of China, a fact that Li was not very happy about.
The following weapons are used in Kiss of the Dragon:
Liu Jian (Jet Li) smuggles a Chinese made copy of the FN Model 1900, .32 ACP into France, which was later used to frame him.
Beretta 92FS Inox
Inspector Richard (Tchéky Karyo) has a Beretta 92FS Inox as his primary weapon throughout the movie. It has a blued barrel from an ordinary Beretta 92.
One of Richard's men carries a nickel-plated M1911-type pistol during the chase on the boat.
Manurhin MR-73 Defense
Many of the cops carry Manurhin MR-73 Defense 3" revolvers (indicated by fixed sights). In the movie, the revolvers seem to be Marurhin F1s, indicated by the shape of the hammer.
French police carry an AR-15-type rifle. It's not very clear, but it has a forward assist and A2-style handguards.
Other
Unknown Grenades
The bigger twin carries several grenades of an unknown type. Richard uses one to try to kill Liu Jian. A CGI model is used when Liu Jian tosses it back into the sleeve of a henchman. (In frame-by-frame, it actually disappears for a few frames.)
Under barrel Grenade Launcher
Max's (John Forgeham) SG 552 has an unknown under barrel grenade launcher. It might be a SIG GL 5040. It could be a mockup as it is never fired.
Train Station Gun Stash
Numerous weapons are seen in the gun stash at the train station. Liu Jian can't use it however, as two cops see it the same time he does.
