Machete is a 2010 "Mexploitation" film directed by Robert Rodriguez and stars Danny Trejo as the title character. The film started out as a mock trailer that was shown as part of the Grindhouse experience which included the films Planet Terror and Death Proof. The trailer was also featured on the Planet Terror DVD and a few of these scenes were left intact for the feature film. The sequel, Machete Kills was released in 2013.
The following weapons were used in the film Machete:
A few of the Sniper's associates carry the Beretta 92FS in the film. Also carried and used by the henchwoman (Cheryl Chin) of Torrez (Steven Seagal).
Colt M1911A1
A stainless Colt M1911A1 is also among the weapons set out for Machete. Von Jackson (Don Johnson) uses an M1911A1 variant as his main sidearm. Some henchmen are also seen armed M1911A1s. Luz (Michelle Rodriguez) also carries a blued Colt with adjustable sights and custom red grips along with her dual SIG P232s that McLaughlin is later given.
In a continuity error, Sartana's Glock 19 briefly changes into a full-sized Glock 17 during the attack in her apartment.
Glock 19
A Glock 19 is the sidearm carried by Sartana (Jessica Alba) in the film. Machete is later seen holding it. A Glock 19 fitted with a suppressor and weaponlight is used by Michael Booth (Jeff Fahey). Also, one of Booth's guards at his house uses a Glock 19.
A heavily customized Walther P99 can be seen on a table of guns set out for Machete. What is supposed to be the P99 is in actually a Walther Nighthawk, a CO2 airgun.
Walther P22
A customized stainless Walther P22 is also among the weapons set out for Machete.
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 15
A coyote is seen with a Smith & Wesson Model 15. Von Jackson is also briefly seen with a Model 15.
Smith & Wesson Model 500
April Booth (Lindsay Lohan) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 500 in the film. Also, Machete is briefly seen using a S&W 500 (This one with a 4" barrel) in Sartana's apartment. He grabs it from Sartana's nightstand.
Smith & Wesson Model 629
A Smith & Wesson Model 629 is carried by Machete's partner at the film's beginning and then Machete is seen using it. The revolver is also used by a drug dealer.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5K
The Heckler & Koch MP5K with the PDW side-folding stock attached is used by one of Sniper's thug's in Luz's hideout.
The Heckler & Koch MP5K is also used by one of Osiris' men in the church shootout.
IMI Uzi
One of Torrez's thugs is briefly seen armed with a Uzi in the beginning of the film. One of the thugs that accompany the Sniper in the hospital carries an Uzi.
A TEC-9 is also among the weapons set out for Machete.
Rifles
AKMS
An AKMS is briefly seen in the hands of one of Torrez's men in the beginning. A woman uses an AKM with a clear plastic magazine. Several other Mexican fighters are seen using them in the final shootout.
Blaser R93 Tactical
A Blaser 93 Tactical sniper rifle is used by the Sniper (Shea Whigham) who shoots Machete and sets him off on his quest of vengeance. The sniper and the rifle are noticeably different from what was shown in the original Grindhouse trailer.
One of Von Jackson's henchmen carries a Remington 700 rifle at the beginning of the film.
Machine Guns
GE M134 Minigun
As in the original Grindhouse trailer, Machete is seen mounting and then using a GE M134 minigun onto his motorcycle. Note that when he is driving the motorcycle the Minigun is mounted upside down and in a different type of mount then when he is firing the gun and attaching it to the bike. Likely the scenes where he is firing and attaching the Minigun are from the original Grindhouse trailer, and the other scenes were filmed later with a different mount for the full movie. Also of note is that there is no ammunition for the Minigun until the motorcycle is "airborne" and then a feed chute suddenly appears. Once the bike lands, the feed chute is gone.
Shotguns
Cobray Street Sweeper
A Cobray Street Sweeper is seen on the table of guns for Machete as well as used by a militia member in the final battle.
A dirty cop is using a Winchester Model 1300 to apprehend Machete after the assassination attempt.
Restaurant workers are also seen using Winchester Model 1300 shotguns during the final shootout.
Zebala Side by Side Sawed-off Field Shotgun
Luz (Michelle Rodriguez) is seen also using a side by side sawed off shotgun similar to the Zebala. She keeps the shotgun in a thigh holster that can swivel so she can fire it without drawing.
