Cold War 2 (Chinese Title: 寒戰 II) is a 2016 Hong Kong police thriller directed by Sunny Luk and Longman Leung. Set shortly after the events of the 2012 film Cold War, now police commissioner Sean Lau (Aaron Kwok) continues to unravel the conspiracy that led to the disappearance of an Emergency Unit van and its officers, including the involvement of his former rival MB Lee (Tony Leung Ka Fai) and Lee's son Joe (Eddie Peng). While uncovering the conspirators, Lau must also contend with a public inquiry led by Legislator Oswald Kan (Chow Yun-Fat).

Glock 17
Glock 17 pistols are used by various HKPF officers. Special Duties Unit (SDU) officers use Glock 17s with attached tactical lights.
Browning Hi-Power
Ex-Senior Inspector Wu Tin Man (Wu Ye) and former Senior Constable Roy Ho (Tony Yang) both use the Browning Hi-Power pistol.
Norinco Type 54/213
A henchman uses a Norinco Type 54 pistol.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
The Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver is used by uniformed HKPF officers.
Shotguns
Franchi PA3
Peter Choi (Chang Kuo Chu) uses a Franchi PA3 during a shootout on the Sha Tin Highway.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
SDU officers are equipped with Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns with Surefire forends. Some of the MP5A3s have attached Aimpoint red dot sights.
Heckler & Koch MP5A4
Officers of the Police Tactical Unit (PTU) are armed with Heckler & Koch MP5A4 submachine guns.
Assault Rifles
CSA Sa vz. 58 Compact
CSA Sa vz. 58 Compact rifles in both 5.56x45mm and 7.62x39mm are used by the antagonists. Roy Ho and Joe Lee (Eddie Peng) both use vz. 58 Compacts with Aimpoint red dot sights during the shootout on the Sha Tin Highway.
AK-47
An AK-47 is used by Gary Fu in one scene.
CZ 805 BREN A2
Ex-Inspector Gary Fu (King Kong Lam) uses a CZ 805 BREN A2 carbine during a car chase.
