Fantastic Four (2005)
Fantastic Four is the 2005 feature film adaptation of the popular Marvel comic book series. Directed by Tim Story, the film follows four astronauts and a billionaire businessman who upon encountering a cosmic storm during a space mission find themselves now possessing superhuman powers. The cast included Ioan Gruffudd as Mr. Fantastic, Jessica Alba as the Invisible Woman, Michael Chiklis as the Thing, Julian McMahon as Dr. Doom, and Chris Evans as the Human Torch (which was Evans' first portrayal of a Marvel character before taking on the role of Captain America). The film would be followed by the 2007 sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. A feature film reboot was released in 2015.

Victor von Doom (Julian McMahon) steals this fictional launcher from the Government armory and attempts to kill Johnny Storm (Chris Evans) with it, who uses his flame powers to deter the missile into destroying a garbage freighter instead.

An FIM-43 Redeye missile launcher is seen in the Government armory when Victor von Doom (Julian McMahon) steals the cooling unit and the heat seeking missile launcher.
