"I'm Your Woman" is a 2020 neo-noir crime movie set in the late seventies in Pittsburgh. Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) plays Jean, the wife of Eddie (Bill Heck). It is an Amazon Studios production. Eddie is a professional thief who brings home a baby one day for Jean to care for. Jean knows the Eddie is a professional criminal, but very little else. One night one of Eddie's associates hustles Jean and the baby away. Only telling her that things have gone wrong and she and the baby are going somewhere safe. From that point the story follows Jean as she struggles to stay alive while Eddie's enemies pursue her and she works at figuring out what is going on. The director and writer of the film, Julia Hart, stated in interview that "I'm Your Woman" is a counterpart to the 1981 Michael Mann crime movie Thief. In that movie James Caan hustles off Tuesday Weld and their adopted baby when he has to deal with his enemies. She is never seen again. "I'm Your Woman" follows the wife after she is rushed away. The film dropped on Amazon Prime on December 11, 2020.
