When is it okay to add more information

I was wondering, when is it a good time to add any new guns and pictures to the page after a new episode airs?--Thomoy15 (talk) 23:28, 6 November 2020 (EST)

The WESTAR-35

I've had a look at some pictures of the WESTAR-35 blaster pistol from the show, and I think I figured out what pistol it's based on, I think it is the STI Edge 1911. --Thomoy15 (talk) 23:54, 13 November 2020 (EST)

I would agree that it is probably a 1911 type gun, just not sure it is an STI Edge 1911 specifically. In the last image it looks like all of the pistols have double stack steps which would make them 2011s (assuming STIs), and they also have full length accessory rails. My guess would be a STI Perfect 10 or something along those lines. --commando552 (talk) 08:23, 14 November 2020 (EST)

---Oh yes, I see it now. --Thomoy15 (talk) 09:46, 14 November 2020 (EST)

...Well that's certainly an interesting choice for recreating a weapon that was originally designed to use as few polygons as possible for CGI animation. The Wierd It (talk) 14:12, 14 November 2020 (EST)

-Interesting enough, I originally thought the WESTAR-35 would use the Desert Eagle as a basis for live action remake of it.--Thomoy15 (talk) 15:06, 14 November 2020 (EST)

The A350 blaster rifle

The newest episode (which was absolutely fantastic) has a bunch of the Magistrate's goons using A350 blaster rifles, which appear to be based on BARs, as well as some sort of shotgun blaster, which I thought might be a Benelli M3T Super 90 without the stock, but the trigger guard looks off. I'd post screenshots, but Disney Plus doesn't let me take them in a browser anymore. --BlackHawk510 (talk) 20:39, 29 November 2020 (EST) I think you might be right about them being based on shotguns. Heck, even Lang's blaster rifle looks like a shotgun.

My initial reaction was they were based on HCARs. The gas tube underneath the barrel is what kind of dinged it for me but I couldn't get a good look at the stock. --Charon68 (talk) 13:27, 30 November 2020 (EST)
Lang's Shotgun is actually a FABARM STF 12 with modifications:
The BARs interestingly have Berthier Mle. 07-16 Carabine Magazines fitted--50AEDeagle (talk) 13:28, 30 November 2020 (EST)
Thanks for the ID. Ominae (talk) 08:52, 1 December 2020 (EST)

Cara's rifle(s)

Currently, the first image (in the tunnel) is her Bren-based rifle (with second barrel and MG 34 drum) from Season 1, while the one she's seen sniping with is aesthetically similar with the double barrels, but is an entirely new prop (and I can't ID any part of it as firearm-y besides the G36C stock and rifle scope). Alex T Snow (talk) 15:22, 13 December 2020 (EST)

I think that the whole bottom section of it might be based on some kind of military bolt action. It looks wood-ish colour and appears to have a main stock, a separate top handguard and a barrel band. It might just be a total coincidence, but that is the first thing I thought when I saw it. --commando552 (talk) 17:21, 13 December 2020 (EST)
You know what, I just realized something, Cara's rifle is the same one as that one Bounty Hunter's from Chapter 4!--Thomoy15 (talk) 21:16, 13 December 2020 (EST)
Oh I see that now too, yeah, like the whole front end of some sort of bolt action rifle. Nice catch with it being the same prop; heck, it could very well be the same in-universe rifle, with Cara having kept it. Alex T Snow (talk) 18:54, 14 December 2020 (EST)

Mauser C96

I'm not buying that Fennec's blaster from the finale is based on a C96. For one it looks like it's got a 1911 style beavertail on the grip. I almost want to call it a reuse of the A280-CFE pistol prop from Rogue One but I'm not totally convinced there either.

Or am I barking up completely the wrong tree here? The Wierd It (talk) 10:44, 24 December 2020 (EST)

Well, it doesn't help that we don't have a good shot of the pistol--Thomoy15 (talk) 10:56, 24 December 2020 (EST)
I highly doubt it is a A280 as the magazine well and overall scale are way too small for a 5.56x45mm. If I was to guess something random other than a C96 I would throw out the Bergmann-Bayard, but from that one screenshot it is really hard to tell anything for sure. --commando552 (talk) 19:24, 24 December 2020 (EST)
Is is possible this is built from a toy AR-15? That would explain the scaling. --Funkychinaman (talk) 00:05, 26 December 2020 (EST)
The only other way I can think of an answer for that is either try to rewatch the episode a few times or maybe the actors or crewmen of the show might know? But that idea sounds ridiculous.--Thomoy15 (talk) 20:24, 24 December 2020 (EST)
I just confirmed it, the pistol is a C96. I just found the same one in the Gallery Series of the Mandalorian, being used by another Guild Member. But it's not a DL-44. It's a different looking one than the DL-44.--Thomoy15 (talk) 20:50, 27 December 2020 (EST)
Are we talking about the same gun here? Because the one above has an AR-15 dust cover, mag release, fencing around the mag release, and forward assist. --Funkychinaman (talk) 21:09, 27 December 2020 (EST)
No, no, no,no ,no. Not the pistol in the picture above. The one Fennec Shand has.--Thomoy15 (talk) 21:25, 27 December 2020 (EST)

The Dark Troopers' rifle

Okay, let's get on another subject, namely the Blaster rifle of the Dark Troopers. While we don't know its make or model, I can say it appears to be a hybrid of a sterling smg and mp40. But I'm just calling it as I see it. What do you all think?--Thomoy15 (talk) 01:53, 25 December 2020 (EST)
