Deadwood: The Movie is a 2019 HBO television Western movie, a continuation of the television series of the same name. The film is directed by Daniel Minahan and reunites the majority of the TV series cast, including Timothy Olyphant, Ian McShane, Molly Parker, Paula Malcomson, John Hawkes, and Gerald McRaney. The plot is set in 1889, ten years after the events of the TV series. Marshal Seth Bullock (Olyphant) investigates the murder of Deadwood resident Charlie Utter who refused to sell his land to Senator George Hearst (McRaney).

Calamity Jane (Robin Weigert) carries a Single Action Army "Artillery" Model revolver with nickel finish and pearl grips. Standard "Artillery" revolvers are used by Sol Star (John Hawkes) and Senator Hearst's henchman (Jim Anderson). In Calamity Jane's flashback scene, Jack McCall (Garret Dillahunt) fires an "Artillery" revolver at "Wild Bill" Hickok (Keith Carradine); this scene is footage from episode "Here Was a Man" (S01E04).

Strangely, it combines features of various versions of Model 3, such as the Model 3 style frame, Russian Model or Schofield style extractor shroud and frame latch, and the angular rear part of the frame and the grip are similar to the New Model No. 3.
