This is the Chinese copy of the TT-33 Tokarev Pistol, except that the Chinese model has a frame mounted safety. The Type 54 is the standard NVA/VC sidearm, the magazine holds 8 rounds of 7.62x25mm Tokarev.

Colt M16

Used by the US and ARVN, a semi-auto only variant with a scope can be used as a sniper weapon, both have 20-round mags.

It should be noted that the Original Pre-1967 M16 wasn't used by the US Army or any other branch of the US Armed Forces other than the Air Force. So, the use of the M16 is a anachronism since the US Army and the ARVN never used the M16, only the US Air Force.

XM177

Used by ARVN and US Special Forces, one with an XM148 grenade launcher

It also should be noted that the use of the XM177 by the ARVN and the US Army is a anachronism since the only branch of the US Military that have used the XM177 is the Air Force. It would be more accurate for the US Army soldiers to use the XM177E1 or the XM177E2 since those are the varients of the XM177 that the US Army and Marine Corps used during the Vietnam War and not the XM177. The Use of 30 round magazines is also a anachronism since 30 round magazines weren't around when the United States was directly involved in the Vietnam War.
