Syndicate-2 (Sindikat-2)

Syndicate-2 Sindikat-2 ) is a Soviet 1981 adventure 6-part mini series directed by Mark Orlov. The story, based on real events, depicts the Operation "Syndicate-2", implemented by the Soviet OGPU in 1922-24 against Boris Savinkov, the prominent person in anti-Bolshevik movement.

Revolvers Nagant M1895 Nagant M1895 revolvers are widely seen throughout the series. All Nagants in the movie are of anachronistic post-1930 version.

Later the same prop is seen in hands of Ivanov (Igor Starikov ), Pavlovskiy's henchman.

Pistols Mauser C96 A Mauser C96 is used by Sergey Pavlovskiy (Nikolay Olyalin ) when he, disguised as a Red Army commander, breaks across the Soviet-Polish border. Mauser C96 pistols are also used by OGPU personnel.

The general outlook allows to guess it to be original FN Model 1903 or similar looking TT-33 that was often used in films as a substitution for FN 1903.
