You already have details of these weapons.

What "No Effort" means is that you simply threw down a list weapons in a show and put no effort forth to making a decent article. What we mean by "details" is which character uses it, who plays that character, and in what context it is used. And when you don't even bother to link the weapon pages properly, add stock images, or add categories to a page, you shouldn't be surprised if it gets deleted.--PistolJunkie 19:20, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

It's gone. --Jcordell 19:53, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Gone again, damn propmaster beat me to it.--Predator20 18:24, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
Created twice with no effort. This guys tenacity is equaled only by his ineptitude.--PistolJunkie 18:27, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
How dare you? I'm sure the guy who keeps trying to create "Everybody Hates Chris" is greatly insulted by that. (Unless it's the same guy, of course.) --funkychinaman 20:50, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
I think it is the same guy; the last time they made this page, the text (what little was there) was for Boardwalk Empire, but the article itself was originally titled Everybody hates chris before it got moved.--PistolJunkie 21:45, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
Though I am sure I will regret it...I can try to cap this series as I have the whole thing with one small caveat. I am swamped with the silly season and all and I also have to cap Sons of Anarchy Season 3. --Charon68 20:06, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

episode 12

I think episode 12 had a bit where the KKK used a Browning M1917 on a black-run distillery. Also in the same episode and several minutes afterwards, there was a bit where "Chalky White" went badass on them with what appeared to be an Enfield M1917 or Springfield M1903

tommy gun

Why hasn't there been a section for the thompson yet!!! It played a big part in the episode it was in.

I have added a section for the Thompson, along with some reasonably detailed screen captures. Technician Fry 00:28, 18 February 2012 (CST)

S&W Russian Model, not S&W Model 3

Was watching Season 3 last night and saw the episode where Richard Harrow is allegedly wielding the S&W Model 3 and noticed that he is holding the Russian Model. If you look at his middle finger on the pistol you can see that it is resting on the second trigger spur that the Russian model has; also look at the butt of the pistol, it has a lanyard ring. Although it is barely visible, you can also make out the frame spur behind the hammer that also indicates that this is the Russian Model and not the 3rd.

Season 5

I don't have the fifth season yet, but I intend on getting it soon and screencapping it to finally complete this page. Speakeasy804 (talk) 12:18, 7 August 2015 (EDT)

Marlin 1898

There's a shotgun seen being fired by a corrupt Chicago police officer in "Erlkönig" (4.05) that is listed as a Stevens 520. Upon further inspection, I've determined that it's actually a Marlin 1898 shotgun. I've included multiple screenshots to confirm this. --Caldwellb734 (talk) 09:30, 14 August 2016 (EDT)

The gun in question, seen in "Erlkönig" (4.05) Note the external hammer and lack of a right-side ejection port, both of which differentiate it from the Stevens 520.

Closeup of the receiver section of the Marlin 1898 shotgun. Note the features identical to those of the shotgun seen in the screenshot. Photo credit goes to iCollector.com
I was thinking that shotgun looks nothing like a 520. --Maxman (talk) 10:04, 2 October 2016 (EDT)
I thought the same thing but had no idea what it was. I came across a picture of this gun completely by chance when I was browsing Google one day. This is the only instance I've ever seen one on film (Or anywhere, for that matter). --Caldwellb734 (talk) 13:17, 15 October 2016 (EDT)

Colt 1991

There's at least one instance in the series' later episodes where a modern Colt 1991 Series 80 is used rather than a period 1911 or 1911A1. --Caldwellb734 (talk) 13:17, 15 October 2016 (EDT)

A modern, current-production Colt 1991A1.

Al Capone (Stephen Graham) shoves his 1911A1 in Van Alden's face in "Cuanto" (5.04). Note the raised sights, dull blued finish, and red-colored grips, and (while harder to see) the straight backstrap with an A1-style grip safety, all identical to the 1991 seen above.

Weird 1911

Skip to about 03:30 in this clip. The 1911 used by the cop appears to have no hammer, or one that's hidden by a jammed slide, but the slide also appears to move when the cop fires? Anyone got any idea about wtf is going on here? --Slemke1998 (talk) 19:36, 23 March 2019 (EDT)

That's not an M1911 it's an FN Model 1903, think of a Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless scaled up to a 9mm belt pistol and that's pretty much what it is. Black Irish Paddy (talk) 23:03, 23 March 2019 (EDT)
