The Red Baron

The Red Baron is a 2008 German film production by director Nikolai Müllerschön and is loosely based on the last Life Years of Manfred von Richthofen. The 24-year-old Baron Manfred von Richthofen (Matthias Schweighofer ) is a gifted fighter pilot in World War. All Europe fears his red-painted Fokker. He and his comrades Voss (Til Schweiger ), Sternberg (Maxim Mehmet ) and Lehmann (Hanno Koffler ) see air duels as bold sports. Only when Richthofen falls in love with the nurse Käte (Lena Headey ), he discovered the horrors of war.
