Cop (1988)
Cop is a 1988 crime thriller starring James Woods as Lloyd Hopkins, an LAPD detective who lives on the edge and goes to extreme lengths in his pursuit of a decades-old serial killer. This film was adapted from the novel "Blood on the Moon" that was written by James Ellroy (the author of L.A. Confidential) and the cast included Charles Durning, Charles Haid, and Lesley Ann Warren.

Det. Lloyd Hopkins (James Woods) carries Colt Detective Special snubnose revolvers as both his main sidearm and as a backup.
Smith & Wesson Model 15
LASD Deputy Delbert 'Whitey' Haines (Charles Haid) carries what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 15. He is disarmed of his revolver after a fight with Lloyd.
Walther PP (Nickel)
A driver pulls a nickel-plated Walther PP when confronted by Lloyd and Det. "Dutch" Peltz (Charles Durning).
Shotguns
Ithaca 37
Det. Dutch Peltz (Charles Durning) uses a 12-gauge Ithaca 37 with a full stock during a confrontation at a traffic stop. An Ithaca with a sawed off stock is seen in a gun rack at the home of Sheriff's Deputy Delbert 'Whitey' Haines (Charles Haid). Both Haines and Hopkins are seen using it.

An IMI Micro Uzi is used by Bobby Franco (Steven Lambert) during the gym shootout.
Haines' Gun Rack
Det. Hopkins searches Haines' home where he finds a gun rack containing an Ithaca 37, a Winchester Model 70 rifle and an AR-15.
