Sapogi vsmyatku (1977)
"Soft-Boiled Boots" (Сапоги всмятку, Sapogi vsmyatku) is a 1977 Soviet feature film directed by Mikhail Ilyenko. Is a cinema version of the few stories and the theater play "A swan song" by A. Chekhov. P.S. The name of the film (actually based on the name of one of Chekhov's stories) initially is a pun and does not make sense. Therefore, in some countries this film is known as "Nonsense."
Vasiliy Blistanov (Boris Andreyev) during a conflict in the theater uses a "Cavarly" model Single Action Army revolver with pearl (or ivory) grips. This gun is correct for the 1880s, when the story is set.
