Talk:Six (2017 TV Series) - Season 2
Modernised variant/copy of the UK vz. 59?
Moved from the UK vz. 59 talk page:
I found this gun in a trailer for season 2 of Six:
I'm pretty sure that it is a UK vz. 59 but it has some differences including the railed handguard, receiver rail, shorter barrel and second trigger guard. Does anyone know if this is a real modernised variant/copy, or is this just a pure TV build? The closest I can come up with is the Atlantic Firearms Marcolmar UKM Vz. 59 Tactical RIfle but I don't think it is as there are a few differences, most importantly the TV gun still has the rear sight protector wings at the back of the receiver. --commando552 (talk) 19:01, 4 February 2018 (EST)

- MP-446 Viking? -- KINKI'boy (talk) 20:21, 30 May 2018 (JST)
- I think it might specifically be an MP-446C as I believe this is more available internationally (and has the forward slide serrations). Also, I think this was shot in Vancouver and this variant has appeared in other Vancouver produced shows. --commando552 (talk) 06:16, 31 May 2018 (EDT)

- Some kind of shorty 5.56 carbines - Not sure beyond that. The right one looks like some legit AR variant though.. If c552 is right and this is a Vancouver production then it's quite possibly an OA K3B-FT like those in other Vancouver-made shows. StanTheMan (talk) 14:01, 6 August 2018 (EDT)
- I don't think they are OA guns, at least the one on the left lacks the traditional FSB and has what looks more like a flip up front sight. I am inclined to think they are probably just HK416s without the normal accessories, but from only this shot it is really hard to tell. With the right gun you can see that it has a Crane style stock which the HK416s in the show also have, but this doesn't really prove anything. --commando552 (talk) 17:12, 6 August 2018 (EDT)
