Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The following guns were used in the video game The History Channel: Battle for the Pacific:
M1 Garand
The M1 Garand is the weapon you start out with at Corrigidor. This was the main rifle in the US Marine Corps.
Colt M1911A1
The Colt M1911A1 is your main sidearm through the game and on some levels is equipped with a suppressor, but it is very hard to see that.
Winchester M1897
The Winchester Model 1897 Shotgun is first given to you at Guadalcanal. It is a very powerful short range weapon that will take out any enemy with a few shots.
Browning M1919A6
The Browning M1919A6 can be seen as a usable emplaced weapon.
Browning M2
The Browning M2 is mainly mounted on the patrol & PT boats and is mounted in several places on Corrigidor. It can also be mounted in the Wake Island level.
Springfield M1903
The M1903 Springfield is used as a sniper rifle on the Rescue mission to take out the Japanese snipers, but it is very hard to see that.

The M1A1 Thompson is standard submachinegun of U.S Marine. This was the best weapon you could get at the time. Several U.S Marines also uses this gun.
Mk 2 Hand Grenade
The Mk 2 hand grenade was the main grenade used by the U.S Marines, you can kill 1-6 Japanese soldiers with this grenade. You will use 20 grenades in whole game.
Arisaka Type 38/Arisaka Type 99
The Arisaka Type 38 was the rifle used by the Japanese on many levels. It is a simple easy to use rifle and surprisingly, you never see it with a bayonet. While called in the game a Type 38, it is modeled off of the Type 99, other than the receiver markings which is modeled off of a Type 38. For some reason it is common for video games to call it by the wrong type of to take parts of one gun and put it onto the other.
Type 100 Submachine Gun
The 1944 model of the Type 100 submachine gun is used by the Japanese in the game. It was first seen at Guadalcanal and used by the Japanese on many other levels.
Nambu Type 14
Nambu Type 14 pistols are seen in Japanese officers's holsters, but they never use it.
Type 99 LMG
The Type 99 Light Machine Gun is a Japanese machine gun that can be seen and mounted on some levels.
Type 96 AA Gun
Japanese Type 96 25mm AA guns can be seen in twin mountings in several missions.
