Project IGI: I'm Going In
From Internet Movie Firearms Database - Guns in Movies, TV and Video Games
Revision as of 00:02, 25 January 2018 by Ultimate94ninja(talk | contribs)(Not sure if that thing between the four barrels should be considered as a fifth barrel)
The Colt Anaconda can be found in a hidden spot in the last level of the game.
Desert Eagle Mark XIX
The Desert Eagle Mark XIX is available in the game. Although depicted as the .357 Magnum model, shown by the use of .357 ammunition boxes and a 9-round magazine, the weapon model is actually that of the .50 AE variant, as evidenced by the lack of a fluted barrel.
Glock 17
The Glock 17 appears in the game, available as a starting weapon in several missions.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
A suppressed Heckler & Koch MP5 is commonly available as a starting weapon. Despite being referred to as "Mp5 SD3" in-game, it is actually modeled after an MP5A3 with an original "slimline" handguard and a non-integral suppressor. The alternate fire button allows for an increased zoom, even though there isn't any sort of scope present on the weapon. It has an overloaded 32-round capacity, which in reality would make reloading difficult.
IMI Uzi
The Uzi commonly appears in enemy hands; a dual-wielded version can be found as well. It has a much higher rate of fire than an actual Uzi, at 900 RPM (close to that of the Mini Uzi variant) versus the real 600.
Shotguns
Franchi SPAS-12
The Franchi SPAS-12 can be found in enemy hands; it is only used in pump-action mode.
Pancor Jackhammer
The Pancor Jackhammer can be found in the game (unrealistic, seeing as only two full-auto prototypes were ever made), with an incorrect 12-round cylinder instead of 10.
Assault Rifles
AK-47
The third-person model of the AK-47 seems to show a true one, even though the first-person model is that of a Zastava M70B1, as seen below.
Colt XM177E2
The "M16A2" in the game is actually a Colt XM177E2 with an M16-style stock; it is equipped with an M203 grenade launcher. It fires fully-automatically, correct for the XM177E2, but incorrect for the M16A2, which fires in 3-round burst mode in reality. It also only carries 20 rounds per magazine, despite being modeled with 30-round magazines
M16 with A2 handguards
A loading screen shows Jones aiming an M16 fitted with A2 handguards and an M203 grenade launcher.
Zastava M70B1
The first-person model of the "AK-47" in the game is actually that of a Zastava M70B1, but modeled with the full-circle front sight of a Norinco Type 56. It is the most commonly found weapon in the hands of enemies. It has an incorrect 32-round magazine instead of 30, and is modeled with a left-side charging handle.
Sniper Rifles
Hybrid SVD Dragunov / FPK/PSL
The Dragunov in-game is actually a hybrid of the SVD Dragunov and the Romanian FPK/PSL. The weapon is silenced in-game, despite the model not featuring a suppressor visually.
Machine guns
Browning M2HB
The Browning M2HB is mounted in several places in the game.
FN Minimi
The FN Minimi is available for use in the game. It is reloaded by just changing the 100-round belt box without inserting the belt into the feed tray.
Four-Barreled Rotary Gun
Launchers
LAW 80
The LAW 80 often appears when the player is tasked with destroying enemy tanks. At times, it is found with a single rocket, and at others, two of them can be found, in which case the weapon will be able to fire two rockets one after the other. This is obviously incorrect, seeing as the real LAW 80 is single-shot and disposable.
M203
The M203 grenade launcher is attached to the Colt XM177E2. It is incorrectly reloaded by pumping it instead of opening the tube, loading a round and closing it.
Explosives
Stun Grenade
Stun grenades (referred to as Flashbangs in-game) can be found in some missions.
C4
Jones is required to use C4 explosives at scripted times, but not as a standard weapon.
