David Oyelowo is a British actor who has appeared in such feature films as Jack Reacher, Red Tails and Lincoln (2012) in addition to his portrayal of Martin Luther King, Jr. in the 2014 film Selma, a role for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. He also appears as US Deputy Marshal Bass Reeves in the Paramount+ series Lawmen: Bass Reeves, for which he is also an executive producer.
