Talk:Mr. Osomatsu

I really don't know about the eligibility of this show. The flamethrower and the shotgun are super generic, and even the LAW is a stretch. --Funkychinaman (talk) 22:44, 12 January 2016 (EST)

I dunno; I'd say those MG32s and the 1911 are pretty compellingly what they're labeled as. --That's the Way It's Done (talk) 17:36, 31 March 2016 (EDT)
The LAW is pretty accurate too. Aidoru (talk) 17:43, 31 March 2016 (EDT)--
Yes, it's a very accurate drawing of a tube. One or two kinda-sorta IDs don't cancel out the fact that everything else is pretty crudely drawn. I really don't want to lower the bar for animation here. --Funkychinaman (talk) 20:33, 31 March 2016 (EDT)
The sights are in the right place, she's holding it the right way, so it should count, in my opinion. The rules state that as long as more than one real firearm is present, it can have a page.Aidoru (talk) 23:31, 31 March 2016 (EDT)
It can have a page. Not it will have a page - And I've seen pages rejected that had as much if not more to go on, frankly. That said, closest I've seen to any definitive 'real' IDs are the MG42 and possibly the hand-held minigun - And even then that's being loose. The one screencap of the 1911 lacks details to where cannot be narrowed down to any particular variant, let alone the Colt Commander as it is listed. The LAW likewise lacks detail; it could easily be a RPG-22 or RPG-26 as opposed to an American M72. The others are just plain generic. I'm with FCM, animated pages need to be highly scrutinized (as is also stated on the RSP) and kept to as high a standard as possible. Just my take, of course.
