V for Vendetta is a 2006 thriller-action film about a mysterious freedom fighter called V in a dystopian future set in Britain. Directed by James McTeigue (Ninja Assassin), the film stars Natalie Portman, John Hurt, Stephen Rea, and Hugo Weaving as the masked vigilante V.
The following weapons were used in the film V for Vendetta:
The Beretta 92FS Inox appears in the film as the side-arm of the secret police of the government, aka "Fingermen". Plain-clothes Fingermen carry plain 92FS Inoxs and Fingermen of the tactical variety carry heavily customized versions, fitted with compensators, huge barrel weights on the dustcover, and tactical flashlights. Fingermen can be seen wielding these Berettas several times in the film, most notably during the climax shootout. Also during several flashbacks Fingermen briefly wield Berettas.

Taurus PT92
A Fingerman tries to pull out a Taurus PT92 (rather than a Beretta) during the opening scene, but is quickly disarmed by V (Hugo Weaving).
Police officers carry Glock 17s as their sidearms in the film. Several Fingermen also carry Glock 17s as their sidearms during the climax shootout in the subway, fitted with tactical flashlights. A BTN security guard also pulls a Glock 17 when V enters the building.
Detective Sergeant Dominic Stone (Rupert Graves) carries a Heckler & Koch USP Compact with a stainless slide as his sidearm. Stone can most notably be seen wielding his sidearm when he tries to apprehend V in the Jordan Tower.
Detective Chief Inspector Eric Finch (Stephen Rea) carries a full-size Heckler & Koch USP as his sidearm in the film. It is not a USP Compact as stated on earlier versions of the page; when seen in the climax of the film, it clearly has the angled trigger guard of the full-size model.
Bishop Lilliman (John Standing) keeps a customized Beretta 1919 hidden inside a cut out of his bible. It has been gold plated and engraved. He pulls it to try and kill V (Hugo Weaving) when he comes to visit him.
Norsefire party leader Peter Creedy (aka "The Finger") (Tim Pigott-Smith) uses a stainless Smith & Wesson Model 686 revolver as his sidearm. He can be seen using it during the climax subway scene.
Fingermen can be seen wielding Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns during several flashbacks. They are also seen in the van and in the hands on Fingermen when the government prepares to control the V riots. One is also seen slung over a dummy at one point in the film.
Fingermen can also be seen wielding Heckler & Koch MP5K submachine guns when Fingermen are preparing to control the V riots. A Fingerman can also be seen firing an MP5K fitted with a 15-round magazine during the subway scene.
The Heckler & Koch G36V assault rifle can be seen wielded by the British Army as their primary weapons in the film. The soldiers most notably wield G36s when they are facing the V / civil rebellion.

Several Mossberg 500 shotguns can be seen in a gun rack in one of the Fingermen's van. Also, during a sequence showing Gordon Dietrich's (Stephen Fry) comedy show on the BTN, actors playing British Army soldiers aim Mossberg 500 shotguns at the audience.
