Rogue One: A Star Wars StoryRogue One: A Star Wars Story - Internet Movie Firearms Database - Guns in Movies, TV and Video GamesRogue One: A Star Wars Story
Star Wars Stories consists of films that are set in the Star Wars universe, but outside of either the Original, Sequel or Prequel trilogies. These films include 2016's Rogue One, an untitled 2018 film centering on Han Solo, and a 2020 film.
The following lists the weapons used in the "Stories" films of the Star Wars saga:
Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) also uses an A180 pistol, which was based on a Luger P08. This pistol appears to have been built up from an airsoft (6" barrel) WE Luger with a large barrel shroud (reminiscent of the LPA NN-14's from The Force Awakens). The Luger's rear sight has also been removed and the "tab" behind the rear sight ground flat.
BlasTech DH-17 Blaster Pistol (Sterling L2A3)
Rebels in Rogue One once again use the Sterling L2A3-based "BlasTech DH-17 blaster pistol". One Rebels can be seen using the DH-17 with what appears to be a Magpul CTR stock.
Blaster Rifles
BlasTech A280CFE and A300 Rebel Blaster Rifles (AR-15)
Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) and some of the other Rebel use blaster rifles based on an AR-15 variant. While visually similar to the A280 blaster rifle from Return of the Jedi, these rifles aren't the same. Andor's weapon is a modular version (perhaps a nod to the AR-15 it's based on) designated as the A280 Covert Field Edition. Andor himself uses the blaster with the stock and all barrel attachments removed, effectively making it a blaster pistol, then later adding parts to his blaster pistol to make what is referred to as a "Sniper Configuration". Some of the Rebel troopers are armed with another blaster rifle based on the AR-15, these are designated as Blastech A-300 blaster rifles. They are fitted with Neuro-Saav NT-43.3 electroscopes and at least one Rebel has a compact version of the blaster rifle with a "sawn off barrel".
Heavy Blasters
Heavy Death Trooper Blaster (MG34)
"Heavy" Death Troopers use a blaster based on the MG34. It is likely meant to be a DLT-19 variant and features what appears to be two underbarrel flashlights.
UT-60D-Mounted Blaster (M60)
In what is perhaps a homage to a scene from Full Metal Jacket, Bistan fires a blaster based on an M60 machine gun out of a UT-60D (U-wing) on Scarif.
Light Blasters
BlasTech E-11 Blaster Rifle (S&T Sterling L2A1)
The "BlasTech E-11 blaster rifle" returns as the standard issue blaster rifle of the Imperial Stormtroopers in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It remains relatively unchanged from the E-11s seen in A New Hope, minus the addition of Element M300A LED Mini Scout Light (EX 191) flashlights on the side of the barrel, which are knockoffs of the SureFire M300 Mini Scout Light. The E-11s were based on airsoft S&T Sterling L2A1s (rather than the real and MGC Sterlings L2A3s used in The Original Trilogy) with scopes cast from real M38 azimuth tank telescopes. The E-11 is also used by Sandtroopers and some Shoretroopers.
Death Troopers carry "BlasTech SE-14r light repeating blasters" (based on Rexim Favors) as their sidearm. The weapon originally appeared in publicity stills for A New Hope, but Rogue One is the first time it has appeared in the films.
BlasTech T-21 Light Repeating Blaster (Lewis Gun)
The "BlasTech T-21 light repeating blaster" is carried by some Stormtroopers in Rogue One. It also features an Element M300A (EX 191) flashlight.
E-11D Blaster Rifle (S&T Sterling L2A1)
Death Troopers use airsoft S&T Sterling L2A1-based E-11D blaster rifles. The blasters feature VFC HK416C-style stocks (SKU: VF9-STK-416E-BK01) and, like a few other weapons, Element M300A (EX 191) flashlights.
DT-29 Heavy Blaster pistol (MP40)
Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) carries a DT-29 heavy blaster pistol, which based on a cut-down MP40 with a scope. The DT-29 appears to be have been custom made, as there are significant structural differences between it and the MP40.
E-22 Blaster Rifle (S&T Sterling L2A1)
Some Shoretroopers use the double-barreled E-22 blaster rifle, which is based on the airsoft S&T Sterling L2A1 with a second barrel, a precision stock, and an Element M300A (EX 191) flashlight added. Like the Death Trooper blaster, this blaster is also likely meant to be some kind of E-11 variant, especially considering the E-22 designation (which presumably is a reference to the two barrels).
