Single Action Army As with most westerns, near everyone in the film carries a Single Action Army revolver. Sheriff Bart (Cleavon Little ) carries a 5" Artillery with a nickel finish and pearl grips, while Jim (Gene Wilder ) carries a pair of nickel plated 7 1/2" Cavalaries.
