Sharps Model 1A Pepperbox

Jacqueline de Bellefort (Mia Farrow) carries a Sharps Model 1A Pepperbox in her purse, which she uses to "shoot" Simon Doyle (Simon MacCorkindale) in the leg. Simon himself handles the Sharps at one point also. Colonel Race (David Niven) tells Hercule Poirot (Peter Ustinov) it is a .22 caliber weapon. During Poirot's investigation, many other characters - including Dr. Ludwig Bessner (Jack Warden), Jim Ferguson (Jon Finch), Rosalie Otterbourne (Olivia Hussey), Miss Bowers (Maggie Smith), Louise Bourget (Jane Birkin) - are seen handling the pistol as he imagines the scenarios in which they committed the murder.
