The picture on main page doesn't show the profile, but I think the gun that Joe Gage has hidden under the table is actually an 1847 Colt Walker, not a Remington 1858 New Army.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colt_Walker http://www.cimarron-firearms.com/cimarron-1847-walker-44-cal-9.html

The one that Gage carries in his belt holster (that Kurt Russell takes from him) seems to be a Colt 1851 Conversion. http://www.lsbauctions.com/1020/consecutive-serial-number-pair-colt-1851-navy-us-navy-bureau-of-ships-cases/

Oswaldo looks to be using a British Bulldog revolver. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Bull_Dog_revolver

I can't seem to find any info on the underlever coach gun Joe Gage uses. Any ideas? Looks like an old Husqvarna underlever shotgun, or something close to this: http://www.gunauction.com/buy/10810142/guns-for-sale-antiques/j-livingston-under-lever-12-ga-belgian-exposed-hammer-sxs-shotgun-antique

If anyone's got any info on the knives and machetes, it would be appreciated! --Goondocks (talk) 09:28, 21 March 2016 (EDT)

Guns Used (For Sure)

I've managed to identify a few of the guns in the movie based on my viewing of it in the theater and from clips that have surfaced on YouTube. I'll try to keep this as far from speculation as possible.

The following screenshots were pulled from YouTube:

Single Action Army

Major Marquis Warren (Samuel L. Jackson) uses several Colt Single Action Army revolvers throughout the film. His own two pistols are both the 4.75" "Quick-Draw" models. One has a nickel finish with wood grips, and the other has a deep blued (and possibly case-hardened) finish with a filed-down front sight, which is a practice among experienced quick-draw shooters to decrease the draw time (Which would make a lot of sense for a bounty hunter and experienced shooter like Major Warren). John Ruth "The Hangman" (Kurt Russell) also uses a Single Action Army, although his is the 7.5" "Cavalry" model and appears to have a brass frame while the rest of the gun is blued or case-colored. It's worth noting that during the film, Major Warren gives his own Quick-Draw Colt to Chris Mannix while he picks up John Ruth's Cavalry model and uses it alongside his own nickel Quick-Draw model. I'm noting this so there's not confusion about the guns Major Warren is using, as he is seen with both a Quick-Draw and a Cavalry Colt, both with blued finishes, and this could be mistaken for a continuity error.

Colt Single Action Army w/ 4.75" barrel, case colored and blued, referred to as "Quick-Draw" or "Civilian" model. This one is very similar to the one used by (Samuel L. Jackson) in the film.

Major Marquis Warren (Samuel L. Jackson) holds one of his Single Action Army revolvers on Chris Mannix (Walton Goggins). Note the filed-down front sight and possibly case-colored frame.

One of Major Warren's Colt revolvers sitting on a small table. Note this one is nickel with wood grips and an unmodified front sight.

Major Warren sits at a table to reload his two Colt revolvers. Note the nickel "Quick-Draw" model on the far side of the table is his own gun, but the long-barreled "Cavalry" model sitting closest to the camera belongs to John Ruth "The Hangman" (Kurt Russell).

The following guns are in the film, but I couldn't get good enough screencaps to upload.

Colt Lightning

Colt 1877 "Lightning". Double Action revolver

Jody (Channing Tatum) uses what appears to be a matching set of Colt Lightning revolvers, which can be identified by the birdshead grips and that he fires one with a double-action trigger pull. It could be a Colt 1878 Double Action or a .41 Colt Thunderer, but the .38 Lightning is much more likely.

Webley Bulldog

Webley Bulldog - .32 caliber.

Oswaldo Mobray (Tim Roth) uses a small, compact pocket revolver. It appears to be a Webley Bulldog, which, considering his English origins, would make sense.

Colt 1851 Navy(?)

Colt 1851 Navy with a cartridge conversion. This is a reproduction of the gun used by Clint Eastwood in TGTBaTU produced by Cimmaron Arms.

Joe Gage (Michael Madsen) uses what appears to be a Colt 1851 Navy with ivory grips. It could potentially be a Colt Dragoon, but it doesn't appear to be large enough.
