The Glock
I've captured some images of The Bourne Ultimatum.
If somebody could tell me what types they are... ;)
- I'm not so sure this is the same gun. Note the differences in the rear sight. The gun pictured has Trijicon sights but Bourne's gun has standard Glock sights. -Gunman69 04:07, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
One of the glocks is in a flash back and the other at the end of the New York car chase, obviously they are different glocks as jason does not keep the same pistol all the way through the bourne franchise. It is likely that the glock that Bourne uses in the flash back was taken away from him once he had used it. statichunter
- That just means that it's one of the Glock 17s used on the movie. There's always at least a double, and sometimes a triple or a quadruple, for every "hero" gun use. The reason being that if a weapon malfunctions on-set, or gets damaged in some way, they can't stall the entire production just to fix the gun. However, sometimes the guns aren't 100% identical to each other, even though they're meant to be used as a single character's weapon; it's likely that this was the case here. The armorer probably just grabbed several Glock 17s off the rack, and some of them had the standard sights, while others had the night sights. But all of them could have been used on-set.
- Also, the Glock in that picture came from Prop Store, and they are very good about checking serial numbers with the armorers. The weapons used in the New York scenes were provided by Weapons Specialists, Inc., and my understanding is that they have a close relationship with Prop Store (or at least, they seem to, which is why Prop Store gets to sell so many of their "hero" weapons). -MT2008 17:02, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
Quick question regarding the Parking Lot Scene
During the parking lot scene right before Bourne steals the police car, why were the CIAs shooting at the NYPD?
- They weren't, they were shooting at Bourne since they had a shoot to kill on sight order and the NYPD was caught in the crossfire who returned fire. - thePotShot15:35, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Moved from top of page
Would anyone be so kind as to tell me what gun is Bourne holding in the image below? Is it a Glock or an HK?
If youre going to add something in, please add it under a new topic, don't just shove it to the top of the page above the contents
As for the topic, it appears to be a Glock Full Frame, such as a 17 or a 22
Thanks for correcting me; and for the information on the gun.
Monocular with PSO 1 Reticle
Bourne uses a monocular while contacting Pamela Lindy in New York. The reticle shown in the scene is from a Russian PSO 1 scope commonly used on the SVD Dragunov rifle. Is that worth adding to this article?
