V: The Final Battle (1984)

V: The Final Battle is the 1984 sequel miniseries to V. The story continues as the Resistance finds new allies and a new weapon that hopefully will defeat the Visitors' plan to take over the planet. Several characters would continue to be seen on a weekly basis in V: The Series.

The following weapons were used in the miniseries V: The Final Battle:

Rifles

M16A1

At the beginning of the miniseries, the Resistance including Juliet Parish (Faye Grant) are seen assaulting a Visitor food processing plant with M16A1 rifles. The weapons had little effect against the Visitors' armor with conventional "ball" ammunition. When the L.A. Resistance were provided Teflon-coated bullets by Ham Tyler (Michael Ironside) later in the series, their M16A1 rifles proved to be effective weapons in fighting the Visitor shocktroopers. M16A1 rifles were also seen in the hands of LAPD SWAT officers when the LAPD and the Visitor forces raided the Resistance's first headquarters.

Submachine Guns

MAC-10

The MAC-10 is a frequent weapon used by the Resistance in the miniseries. In Part 2, a MAC-10 is used by Ham Tyler (Michael Ironside), who introduces the Resistance to Teflon-coated ammunition which pierces the previously impenetrable armor of the Visitors. Tyler's associate Chris Farber (Mickey Jones) also uses the weapon.

IMI Uzi

An Uzi submachine gun can be seen when Caleb and Elias Taylor were placing various Resistance weapons into a washing machine in the laundry of the Los Angeles Medical Center. One Resistance fighter was seen armed with an Uzi when they were rescued by the Fifth Column (under the guise of arresting the Resistance) after the LA Resistance Cell successfully revealed Supreme Commander John's true face on international television.
