Doomed to War (original title Obrechyonnye na voynu) is a Russian 2008 war drama directed by Olga Zhulina and based on the story "Go and do not come back" by Vasil Bykov. In Winter 1942 in Nazi-occupied Belorussia two young partisans, Zosya (Nina Loshchinina) and Anton (Yuri Kolokolnikov), are sent to a reconnaissance mission. Anton falls in love to Zosya but his feelings proves fatal to both.

Anton's (Yuri Kolokolnikov) personal weapon is a Nagant M1895 revolver. In one scene the revolver is taken from Anton by Saley (Aleksey Kolokoltsev).

The sergeant (Fyodor Dobronravov), the leader of the trio of partisans, is armed with a PPSh-41.
MP40
Saley (Aleksey Kolokoltsev), one of the trio of partisans, is armed with an MP40. MP40s are also seen in hands of German soldiers.
Rifles
Mosin Nagant M1891/30
Pashka (Pavel Navrotskiy), one of the trio of partisans, is armed with a Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifle.
Karabiner 98k
German soldiers and Hilfspolizei (auxiliary police) carry Karabiner 98k rifles.

Flamethrower
In one scene a German soldier uses a flamethrower to set fire on a peasant house.
