Handguns
A SIG-Sauer P229R is the sidearm carried by Sergeant Henry "Hank" Voight (Jason Beghe). Sometimes it changes into a P226R.

Sergeant Henry "Hank" Voight (Jason Beghe) sometimes carries a SIG-Sauer P226R. Rather than his SIG-Sauer P229R
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is the sidearm carried by the majority of the detectives in the Special Intelligence Unit of the Chicago PD including Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda), Detective Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer), and Alvin Olinsky (Elias Koteas). The Glock is also carried by the majority of the patrol officers on the show, including Officer Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) and Officer Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati).
Glock 19
Detective Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush) carries a Glock 19 as her sidearm. Detective Jay Halstead also uses the Glock 19. It is unknown if this is a continuity error, or his new prefered sidearm.
