::This site is calling it yet another thing, a R4GP. I don't think we can rely on blogs. For now, I think it's safety to go to the horse's mouth, in this case, the Remington Defense catalog. I can't post a download link, so just go [http://www.remingtonmilitary.com/firearms/carbines/r4.aspx here] and download on your own, Pages 6 and 8. It looks like only the R5 has a gas piston. --[[User:Funkychinaman|Funkychinaman]] ([[User talk:Funkychinaman|talk]]) 10:37, 8 December 2015 (EST)

Remington R5 RGP with Magpul PMag & CTR stock - 5.56x45mm

Remington R4 is M4 Carbine style rifle, think that it's not like to Remington ACR hangguard. Remington Defense Website - KINKI'boy (talk) 23:40, 3 December 2015 (JST)

I think someone needs to really look into this. The Firearms Blog called it an R4 RGP, but according to the website above, the R4 is DI, and it's the R5 RGP. As far as I can tell, that's the difference between the R4 and the R5. But then again, I haven't really looked that into it. --Funkychinaman (talk) 10:05, 3 December 2015 (EST)

The first photo is not an R4. I checked the Remington brochure and its foregrip is similar to Colt's. Ominae (talk) 02:49, 8 December 2015 (EST)

Yes, which is why I cited TFB above, but they're the only site that lists it as an R4 RGP, so they could be mistaken. As for the foregrip issue, it's all modular. --Funkychinaman (talk) 10:16, 8 December 2015 (EST)

This site is calling it yet another thing, a R4GP. I don't think we can rely on blogs. For now, I think it's safety to go to the horse's mouth, in this case, the Remington Defense catalog. I can't post a download link, so just go here and download on your own, Pages 6 and 8. It looks like only the R5 has a gas piston. --Funkychinaman (talk) 10:37, 8 December 2015 (EST)
