Daniel Boulanger was a playwriter and occasional actor. He is the author of screenplays for such movies as That Man from Rio, The Legend of Frenchie King, Police Python 357, Chouans! and many others. In 1965 he was nominated for Academy Award in Best Writing, Story and Screenplay category for L'homme de Rio.
