Shoot the Pianist (original title Tirez sur le pianiste) is a 1960 French crime drama directed by François Truffaut and starring Charles Aznavour as a pianist Edouard Saroyan.

Mle 1892 Revolver
In the climactic scene Mle 1892 Revolvers are used by brothers Chico (Albert Rémy) and Richard Saroyan (Jean-Jacques Aslanian) and by the gangster Ernest (Daniel Boulanger).
MAB Model D
Gangster Momo's (Claude Mansard) handgun is a MAB Model D pistol. Due to a continuity error in the climactic scene his pistol switches to Colt Model 1903/1908 and than back to MAB.
Colt Model 1903/1908
A nickel plated Colt Model 1903/1908 is carried by Chico Saroyan (Albert Rémy). In one scene he gives to to Edouard (Charles Aznavour), and later this pistol is seen in hands of Richard (Jean-Jacques Aslanian). Due to a continuity error in the climactic scene Momo's (Claude Mansard) pistol switches to Colt and than back to MAB Model D.
MP40
An MP40 is briefly seen in Saroyans' house. It isn't used in action.
