Mr. Sargis (Warren Oates) uses a Harring & Richardson Model 999 Sportsman Top-Break Revolver when he goes to shoot Holly's dog.
Hi-Standard Sentinel Revolver
Kit (Martin Sheen) carries a Hi-Standard Sentinel Revolver Charles Starkweather (the inspiration for Kit) carried a 38 revolver.
Single Action Army
The sheriff wields a Single Action Army.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
The deputy's (Alan Vint) sidearm is a Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver.
Savage 99R
Kit (Martin Sheen) carries and uses a Savage 99R during most of the film, asking for .300 caliber ammunition towards the end.
Remington 870
Kit (Martin Sheen) fires a Remington 870 when the bounty hunters come looking for him and Holly.
