Russkiy otdel) is a Russian/Japanese/Kazakh television series about the adventures police Chief Takuya Minamoto (Erik Zholzhaksynov), his Russian fiend Ganin (Sergey Stepanchenko) who works in Japan and Russian militiawoman Aleksandra Shevchuk (Larisa Ponomarenko), who was secondment to Hokkaido for help Japanese police to fight with Russian criminals, that has affiliates on Hokkaido island. For the majority of the series, Police Chief Takuya Minamoto (Erik Zholzhaksynov) was not seen carrying a firearm while on duty. However, in the episode 8 what appears to be Jericho 941 is seen in the hands of the detective.
