Safe House is a 2012 action thriller starring Ryan Reynolds as a low-level CIA agent, who is in charge of a CIA safe house in Cape Town, South Africa. After receiving a house guest (a rogue agent) by the name of Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington), the safe house is breached, and Weston must go on the run with Frost.

Vargas (Fares Fares) uses a SIG-Sauer P226 as his sidearm throughout the film, sometimes fitted with a suppressor. Several of Vargas' henchmen also use P226s as their sidearms. Vargas (Fares Fares) uses a short-barreled AR-15 derivative, similar to a Olympic Arms K23B during several attempts to kill Frost. The rifle is initially equipped with a telescopic sight and suppressor, but is mostly seen with an EOTech holosight.
Colt M4A1 Carbine
Members of the CIA extraction team led by Daniel Kiefer (Robert Patrick) wield M4A1 Carbines when the safe house is attacked.
AK-47
Several hitmen use AK-47s during the safe house attack and later during a gunfight in a shantytown.
Vektor R5
Carlos Villar (Rubén Blades), a forger and friend of Frost's, uses a Vektor R5 carbine while defending his home from an attack.
Machine Guns
M249 Paratrooper
A hitman who breaches the door of the safe house fires a M249 SAW Paratrooper before being cut down by one of the CIA agents.
Other
M84 Stun Grenade
The hitmen toss M84 stun grenades after breaching the safe house.
