Short Time is a 1990 action comedy starring Dabney Coleman as a detective who wants to take no risks while on the job.  When he mistakenly believes he is dying of a rare disease, he decides to go out with absolutely no fear of the consequences to himself.

The following weapons were used in the film Short Time:

Desert Eagle
A chrome Desert Eagle is used by Carl Stark (Xander Berkeley) as his primary weapon, sometimes with a suppressor. He uses it to threaten a soldier during the robbery at the beginning, and later to shoot at Burt Simpson (Dabney Coleman) on the stairwell, until he runs out of ammo and discards it.

Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is taken off of one of the soldiers by Stark (Xander Berkeley) when he and his gang rob the gun shipment. To taunt the soldier, he puts on the hood of the army truck and dares him to grab it.

Barrett M82A1
One of the primary guns stolen from the army shipment is a Barret M82A1 .50 caliber gun, fitted with what is descrived as a Startron scope and 11-round magazine. Stark (Xander Berkeley) demonstrates its firepower by shooting a hole through his client Scalese's (Joe Pantoliano) Lincoln Town Car, much to the anger of driver Vito (Tony Pantages).

Mossberg 500 Bullpup
Another of the firearms stolen from the army shipment is a Mossberg 500 bullpup. It is used by one of Stark's thugs to shoot at Burt (Dabney Coleman) and his partner Ernie Dills (Matt Frewer) when they come to his apartment to arrest him. While fleeing up a fire escape, he drops it.

AK-47
An AK-47 with a bipod is used by Jonas Lutz (Paul Jarrett) during a high-speed car chase midway through the film. He uses it to shoot up several police cars until Burt (Dabney Coleman) rams into the Lutz brothers' car, causing Jonas to drop the weapon onto the road.
