F/X 2 is the 1991 sequel to 1986's F/X. Bryan Brown returns as Rollie Tyler, a now retired movie special effects expert who's called upon by the NYPD to perform one last "gag" to catch a suspect. When the effect goes awry, Rollie is once again on the run and has to get help from his friend and former cop Leo McCarthy (Brian Dennehy).

The white-haired assassin uses a Beretta 92SB to threaten Kim (Rachel Ticotin), the girlfriend of Rollie (Bryan Brown).

Leo McCarthy (Brian Dennehy) carries a Walther PPK during the final confrontation.
Smith & Wesson Model 28
During the shooting of a movie, actors playing police officers use Smith & Wesson Model 28 revolvers to shoot at an alien robot.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
The Smith & Wesson Model 36 is carried by both NYPD Lt. Ray Silak (Philip Bosco) and Det. Mike Brandon (Tom Mason).
Raven Arms MP-25
Assistant DA Liz Kennedy (Joanna Gleason) is seen pulling a nickel Raven Arms MP-25 compact pistol during the final confrontation.
