Kuffs is a 1992 action comedy starring Christian Slater as George Kuffs, a young man who finds that he has inherited his deceased brother's Police Special District in San Francisco, where he has to learn the ropes on how to correctly protect the citizens in that district despite his lack of law enforcement experience. The film is known for its main character speaking directly to the audience and the cast featuring early appearances of Ashley Judd and Milla Jovovich. Ashley Judd was only 23 and her only previous acting appearance was as Ensign Lefler on the series Star Trek: The Next Generation (which was being produced at the same time as this film). Though the character of Maya Carlton is in her early 20s, Milla Jovovich was only fifteen years old when she appeared in this movie.
The following weapons were used in the film Kuffs:

Handguns
Beretta 92FS
George Kuffs (Christian Slater) carries the Beretta 92FS as his main sidearm in the film. He buys it from a gun store, where he asks the salesman to give him "a really big gun that holds a lot of bullets", to which the salesman replies, "God bless you, young man", and then shows him a "9 millimeter Beretta, 15 in the clip, 1 in the pipe." Kuffs then decides to buy two. A Beretta 92FS is also fired by one of Sam's thugs during the rooftop shootout.
Beretta Model 70
What appears to be a Beretta Model 70 is used by the Japanese Hood (Will Leong) guarding Yakawia (Kenny Endoso). On a side note, Yakawia is a gibberish name. Despite using syllables which are common in Japanese, there is no such name in the Japanese language.
Smith & Wesson Model 29
The Smith & Wesson Model 29 is the main sidearm of Brad Kuffs (Bruce Boxleitner) at the beginning of the film. A Model 29 is also carried by SFPD Officer Ted Bukovsky (Tony Goldwyn) during the final rooftop shootout; he buys it at a gun store, where he refers to it as a ".44 Magnum".
Smith & Wesson 639
The Smith & Wesson 639 is used by the suicidal jumper to shoot Kuffs before he jumps out the window. High speed film of a gun being actually fired was used for this sequence.
Smith & Wesson 5904
What appear to be Smith & Wesson 5904 pistols are carried by various uniformed officers of the SFPD. Police Special Officer Donnelly (Joshua Cadman) also fires a Smith & Wesson 5904 during the rooftop shootout. The pistols appear to have the hooked trigger guard of early models, but with newer Novak sights.
SIG-Sauer P226
The SIG-Sauer P226 is primarily used by Officer Bukovsky during the rooftop shootout. The weapon is purchased by Bukovsky at the gun store; as he specifically asks for a "SIG 226". The pistol also is used by Kuffs in the shootout.
Glock 17
Sam Jones (George de la Peña) uses a Glock 17 in the final shootout.
Colt Anaconda
A nickel plated version of the Colt Anaconda is used by Kane (Leon Rippy) to shoot Brad Kuffs (Bruce Boxleitner).
Heckler & Koch VP70
The Heckler & Koch VP70 is seen in the waistband of one of Sam Jones' hoods.
M1911
A M1911 is fired by one of Kane's thugs after they vandalize a paint shop.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch SP89
A suppressed Heckler & Koch SP89 modified to resemble an MP5K is used by Kane (Leon Rippy) when he tries to kill Kuffs in his apartment. Also by one of Sam's hoods during the final shootout.
Micro Uzi
Yakawia's guards use Micro-Uzi's during the rooftop shootout.
Shotguns
Ithaca 37 Deer Slayer Police Special
The Ithaca 37 Deer Slayer Police Special shotgun is seen purchased from a gun store and then used by Kuffs during the rooftop shootout. One of the thugs specifically states the shotgun only holds three shots. Police Special officer Nikki (Mary Ellen Trainor) also uses an Ithaca, but this one has the front sight removed.
Remington 870
A sawed off Remington 870 is held by Kane at the beginning of the film.
High Standard FLITE KING K-1200 Riot Shotgun
Bukovsky uses a High Standard FLITE KING K-1200 Riot '''Standard''' Model shotgun during the rooftop shootout.
Gun Store Weapons
Two gun stores are visited by Kuffs in the film, first when he purchases his Beretta and then when he and Bukovsky purchase both handguns and shotguns.
