Dying Light is is a 2015 survival horror video game developed by Polish video game developer Techland and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for Microsoft Windows, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game revolves around an undercover operative sent to infiltrate a quarantine zone in a city called Harran. Firearms in game are rare in the game, but there are a few to find. In game, the models are detailed enough to have fictional engraved trades.
The following weapons are featured in the video game Dying Light:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P226
A SIG-Sauer P226 with a Desert Eagle-style slide-mounted safety appears in the game as the "German 9mm Pistol", with a 8 round capacity. In the opening cutscene, Kyle Crane uses one by shooting one of Rais' men after being attacked by them. A unique version of the pistol called "Rais's Gun" can be also found in the game, which can shoot 3 rounds instead of 1.
Beretta 84F "Cheetah"
The "American 9mm Pistol" in the game resembles a Beretta 84F "Cheetah" with a 15 round capacity and features a wooden grip.
Shotguns
12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun
The Stogeger/IGA Coach Gun appears in the game as the "Double-barreled Shotgun" with a 2 shell capacity and the only shotgun in game. It has the highest amount of firepower, but is the least accurate, unless in close-quarters.
Assault Rifles
SIG SG 556
A SIG SG 556 appears in the game as the "Police Rifle" and the "Military Rifle". The "Police Rifle" rather resembles to the SIG SG 556 in game, with a semi-automatic 20 round capacity and features a fixed stock and a short magazine. The "Military Rifle" resembles more of a Remington ACR, but still based on the SIG SG 556, with a full-automatic 30 round capacity and features a retracted stock and a extended magazine.
Mounted Weapons
PKT Machine Gun
T90s are shown on Turkish militia tanks in the game's introduction.
Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-30-1
Mig 29s regularly patrol the skies above Sector 0. Despite the deployments being attributed to the Turkish Ministry of Defense, they seem to use Russian-made vehicles when Turkey uses exclusively NATO equipment in real life.
