The French Conspiracy (original title: L'Attentat - English: "The Assassination") is a 1972 French-Italian-West German politician thriller film directed by Yves Boisset. Starring Jean-Louis Trintignant, Gian Maria Volonté, Michel Piccoli and Roy Scheider.
