The Cheyenne Tactical M-200 Intervention is a high end sniper rifle (usually refered to as the CheyTac M-200). It is chambered for both the .408 Chey Tac or .375 Chey Tac (both custom proprietary calibers created by Cheyenne Tactical). The CheyTec M-200 was designed to fill a need for large caliber sniper weapons that had better ballistics and design elements than the offerings in .50 BMG on the marketplace. The CheyTac M-200 won the world record (Feb 2006) for best group at a distance, placing 3 bullets within 16-5/8 inches (42.2 cm) at 2321 yards. The M-200 also comes in a Carbine version as well.
The Cheyenne Tactical M-200 Intervention (aka CheyTac M-200) is seen in the following:
Movies
- A camo painted version is used by Mark Wahlberg in the Movie Shooter, and later by Danny Glover to Frame him for murder.
Television
- 2 were seen in the hands of Bob and Hector in The Unit
