The SRM Arms 1200 Series are an American-made line of 12-gauge semi-automatic tactical shotguns utilising a unique rotating four-tube detachable magazine, which also serves as the weapon's forearm. The tubes are mounted around a spindle and the operator can rotate the entire assembly to feed from any of the four tubes at any time. Depending on the variant of the weapon, the tubes can have a capacity of between two and four cartridges.
There is also a prototype fully automatic variant of the Model 1216, the MLE-12, though it has yet to draw any interest from military or law enforcement customers. This version still requires the tube magazines be manually indexed by the operator.
