Michael Douglas is an American actor/producer well known for his leading man roles in such films as Black Rain, Romancing the Stone, and Basic Instinct as well as for his television role as Insp. Steve Keller for five seasons of the series The Streets of San Francisco. He also has received Academy Awards both as an actor (Wall Street) and as a producer (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest). He is the son of actor Kirk Douglas and the brother of the late actor Eric Douglas.
