Once A Thief is the 1996 made-for-TV remake of the 1991 Chow Yun Fat-starring heist film of the same name. Both the original and the remake were directed by John Woo and the television film served as a pilot for a television series, which would subsequently air for one season from 1997 to 1998.
The following weapons were used in the film Once A Thief (1996):
Handguns
Taurus PT92
The Taurus PT92 is used throughout the film. In classic John Woo fashion, Mac Ramsey (Ivan Sergei) is seen dual-wielding stainless pistols during a warehouse shootout. Victor (Nicholas Lea) is seen with a blued pistol during the final standoff.
Smith & Wesson 3913 Ladysmith
A Smith & Wesson 3913 "Ladysmith" is held by Li Ann Tsei (Sandrine Holt). This pistol is also seen in the hands of Mac during a standoff.
Smith & Wesson 5904
During a fight in Li Ann's apartment, a dresser is knocked over and a two-tone Smith & Wesson 5904 falls to the carpet. Victor picks it up and gets into a standoff with Mac.
Submachine Guns
Ruger MP9
Several gangsters are armed with Ruger MP9 machine pistols.
Cobray M11/9
One of the gangsters carries a Cobray M11/9 during the warehouse shootout.
Machine Guns
M60 Machine Gun
The M60 machine gun is among the weapons seen in the warehouse run by the Triads.
Browning M2HB Heavy Machine Gun
The Browning M2HB heavy machine gun is among the weapons seen in the warehouse run by the Triads.
