The Cop (original title Un condé; UK release title Blood on My Hands) is a 1970 French crime drama directed by Yves Boisset. A bar owner Robert Dassa is killed by the henchmen of crime boss Tavernier. Dassa's old friends, criminals Dan Rover and Viletti avenge him, but when they in turn kill Tavernier, police inspector Barnero is also slain. Barnero's friend inspector Favenin is glad that Tavernier is dead but the death of Barnero makes Favenin mad, and now he takes the justice in his hands.

Smith & Wesson Model 36
Another Rover's revolver is a Smith & Wesson Model 36. Viletti (Michel Constantin) also carries Model 36. In the scene when Inspector Favenin (Michel Bouquet) appears in Viletti's apartments, he finds and uses Viletti's revolver.
When Dan Rover is arrested, police detectives carry unidentified revolvers.
A large-frame revolver is seen in the police shooting range.
Pistols
Walther PP
A Walther PP (most likely a Manurhin-manufactured pistol) is Inspector Favenin's (Michel Bouquet) personal firearm.
Luger P08
A Luger P08 is a personal firearm of Georges "Nice Smile" Duval (Henri Garcin), Tavernier's henchman. Later Duval's pistol is seen in hands of Inspector Favenin (Michel Bouquet) and Lupo (Théo Sarapo).
An M1911A1-style pistol is seen in hands of Lupo (Théo Sarapo) in the scene of the assassination of Tavernier. An M1911 is also seen in the police shooting range.
Unidentified pistol
Inspector Barnero (Bernard Fresson) carries an unidentified pistol.
Submachine Guns
Sten Mk II
A Sten Mk II is seen on the police shooting range. In the final scene gendarmes are armed with Stens.
Sten Mk V
A photo of Hélène Dassa (Françoise Fabian) toghether with Viletti (Michel Constantin) shows her holding a submachine gun with side-mounted magazine and a foregrip. It looks most likely a Sten Mk V though the barrel looks slightly different.
Some version of Thompson Submachine Gun is seen on the police shooting range. It has a foregrip and a drum magazine. Thompson M1928 seems to be a reasonable guess.
