Hanover Street is a 1979 WWII adventure romance directed by Peter Hyams and starring Harrison Ford as an American bomber pilot stationed in London who becomes romantically involved with a married British nurse (Lesley-Anne Down). He then finds himself on a spy mission with the nurse's husband (Christopher Plummer).

The Browning M2 Aircraft heavy machine gun appears in the film as the primary armament of the B-25 Mitchell bomber flown by Lieutenant David Halloran (Harrison Ford).

British troops in London are seen armed with the Lee-Enfield No.4 MkI.
MP40
The MP40 is used notably by Lieutenant David Halloran (Harrison Ford) during the escape from the German HQ. It's also seen used by both German forces and French resistance fighters during the escape on the bridge.
Walther P38
The Walther P38 is seen in the hands of a French woman (Suzanne Bertish) who finds Paul Sellinger (Christopher Plummer) and Lt. Halloran (Harrison Ford). It is then seen held by Sellinger while in the German HQ.
Karabiner 98k
The Karabiner 98k is also held by German guards at the headquarters.
MG34
The MG34 is seen mounted on the sidecar of a German motorcycle that chases Halloran and Sellinger.
