The Hot Spot is a 1990 crime drama romance thriller directed by Dennis Hopper. This neo-noir film tells the story of a reclusive and cynical drifter Harry Madox (Don Johnson), who arrives in a small town in Texas, where will work in the bazaar, the owner of which is aging podpantoflák Harshow George (Jerry Hardin). Meanwhile, Harry begins work on a plan of bank robberies and becomes involved with two different women - chief's young and attractive wife Dolly (Virginia Madsen) and also his very young and pretty secretary Gloria (Jennifer Connelly). His plans complicated by local blackmailer Frank Sutton (William Sadler).
