Gun was a 1997 miniseries that followed the path of a single pistol and how it affects the lives of the people who take possession of it. The series consisted of six episodes and was produced by Robert Altman, who also directed an episode. The cast included Martin Sheen, Randy Quaid, Daryl Hannah, Sally Kellerman, James Gandolfini, and Daniel Stern.

A Glock 19 also is seen in the series.

In (S1E01), a customer is seen purchasing the nickel M1911A1 from a gun store.
