Revision as of 03:37, 4 March 2009
The following guns were used in the video game Combat Arms:
For more information on the game, see the site:
http://combatarms.nexon.net/Depot/WeaponGear.aspx
M16A4
An M16A4 rifle is inaccurately labeled as an "M-16A3", even though it has a removable carry handle. Unlike any rifle in the M16 series, it fires burst and auto, when in reality all M16s have semi-auto fire and either burst or auto.
M4A1
An M4A1 Carbine is considered the lighter and more versital M16 in the game. Recoil is grossly exaggerated.
M14
An M14 Rifle is used in the game. Strong recoil is an over statement, an M14's recoil is quite tame and comfortable.
AK-47
The AK-47 in the game looks like a mix between on old Type III and a newer AKM.
FAMAS-F1
A FAMAS-F1 is available in the game.
Heckler & Koch G36E
A Heckler & Koch G36E is available in the game. A 5.56x45mm is definately not considered a "large caliber round."
Steyr AUG-A1
A Steyr AUG is available in the game.
FN SCAR-L
FN SCAR-Ls in camo tan and matte black are available in the game.
SIG SG-550
A SIG SG-550 is available in the game. There is no reason why this gun should be listed as having strong recoil, it only fires 5.56mm!
AK-103
An AK-103 is available in the game. Like the AK-47, this too looks like a Type III/AKM crossover, only now it is fitted with synthetics and tactical rails.
M4A1 CQBR
The M4A1 CQBR is the ultra compact M4 in the game.
Heckler & Koch HK416
The Heckler & Koch HK416 is available in the game. Most gamers prefer this weapon to other assault rifles because like many games, they make this gun seem far superior to any other rifle, and gamers believe everyone but "noobs" use them.
AKS-74U
An AKS-74U is available in the game.
Daewoo K2
A Daewoo K2 is available in the game.
Daewoo K1A
A Daewoo K1A is available in the game, but is inaccurately labeled as a submachine gun.
M60 machine gun
An M60 machine gun is available in the game.
FN Minimi Para
The paratrooper version of the FN Minimi is available in the game. It has an M249-E2 forend but lacks the heat shield.
FN M249-E1
An FN M249-E1 is available in the game. For some reason it is called the K3 and has a full buttstock.
FN Minimi SPW
An FN Minimi SPW is available in the game. The model is missing its heat shield.
FN Mk 48 Mod 0
An FN Mk 48 Mod 0 is available in the game.
Colt M1911A1 MEU
A Colt M1911A1 MEU is available in the game.
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS pistol is available in black and tutone.
Glock 23
A Glock 23 pistol is available in black and tutone. These Glocks have very old 1st generation features which new Glocks (the 23 included) don't have.
Glock 18C
A Glock 18C is available in the game, but is shown as a compact pistol.
Heckler & Koch USP
A Heckler & Koch USP is available in the game.
Heckler & Koch USP Tactical
The super version of the Heckler & Koch USP in the game.
Daewoo K5
Colt Anaconda "Black"
So many things wrong with this. First off, a Colt Anaconda was only released in stainless steel, and two, the finish on Colts is never "black", it is applied with bluing.
IMI Desert Eagle Mark XIX
A stainless steel Desert Eagle Mark XIX is available in the game, although it is considerably shorter than a real Desert Eagle.
