Code Name: Wild Geese (original Italian title Arcobaleno selvaggio, German title Geheimcode: Wildgänse) is a 1984 Italian-West German war movie directed by Antonio Margheriti (credited as Anthony M. Dawson). The story takes place in the Golden Triangle area of southeast Asia where a band of mercenaries under the command of Captain Robin Wesley (Lewis Collins) fights a Burmese opium lord. This is the first of three films that British actor Lewis Collins made with Margheriti; it was followed by Commando Leopard (1985) and The Commander (1988).

Smith & Wesson Model 36
In the scene in Hong Kong Charleton (Klaus Kinski) and several of his men are seen with Smith & Wesson Model 36 revolvers.
M1911A1
Several characters use M1911A1 pistols during the movie, including Captain Robin Wesley (Lewis Collins) and his men, Archie "China" Travers (Lee Van Cleef) and Kim (Rene Abadeza).
Submachine guns
M1A1 Thompson
Captain Robin Wesley (Lewis Collins), Kowalski (Bruce Baron) and Stone (Frank Glaubrecht) are armed with M1A1 Thompson submachine guns. Several of Kim's men are also seen with Thompsons.
Uzi
Several of General Khan's soldiers are seen with Uzi submachine guns.
Rifles
M1 Garand
During the attack on helicopter landing field Klein (Manfred Lehmann) is armed with M1 Garand fitted with a sniper scope. Later he changed it for M16A1.
Assault rifles
M16A1
In the opening scene most of Wesley's mercenaries are seen with M16A1 assault rifles. During the jungle operation Arbib (Thomas Danneberg) is armed with M16A1 with M203 grenade launcher. Several of Kim's men and General Khan's soldiers are also seen with M16A1s.
Colt/Elisco Tools Model 653P
In the final scene Charleton (Klaus Kinski) and several of his men are seen with Colt Model 653 carbines. The movie was filmed in the Philippines, so these guns are most likely license-manufactured Elisco Model 653P.
Type 56
Most of General Khan's soldiers are armed with milled receiver Norinco Type 56 assault rifles with removed "pig stickers".
Machine guns
M60
In the opening scene M60 machine gun is used by Wesley's mercenaries. General Khan's soldiers has several M60s. During the attack Klein (Manfred Lehmann) captures and uses one of them. Travers (Lee Van Cleef) operates the same MG during the attack on the train. In the final scene Charleton (Klaus Kinski) and his men are also armed with one or two M60s.
Browning M2 Aircraft
Browning M2 Aircraft machine gun is mounted on the river boat.
Browning M1919A4
A Browning M1919A4 on a pedestal mount is used by General Khan's soldiers to guard the bridge.
Support weapon
M203 grenade launcher
Arbib's (Thomas Danneberg) M16A1 is fitted with M203 grenade launcher.
M20 "Super Bazooka"
General Khan's soldiers use M20 "Super Bazooka" during Wesley's attack on the opium depot.
Flamethrower
Wesley (Lewis Collins) uses flamethrower during the final shootout. He fired it at first by hands and then mounted it on the helicopter.

Grenades
Most of the mercenaries carry unidentified hand grenades. They are of two different types.
