Gremlins is a 1984 horror fantasy directed by Joe Dante. The film stars Zach Galligan as Billy, a young man who receives an unusual Christmas gift from his father in the form of a strange creature named Gizmo. Through a turn of events, the creature spawns more terrifying versions of itself, known as Gremlins. These Gremlins then proceed to cause mayhem in Billy's small town. The cast includes Phoebe Cates, Corey Feldman, Keye Luke, Hoyt Axton in addition to Dante regular Dick Miller. A sequel Gremlins 2: The New Batch was released in 1990.
