The Conspirator is a 2011 courtroom thriller directed by Robert Redford that dramatizes the trial of the only woman charged with conspiracy in the plot to assassinate Abraham Lincoln as well as other members of the American government.
The following weapons were used in the film The Conspirator:
Philadelphia Derringer
John Wilkes Booth (Toby Kebbell) uses a Philadelphia Derringer in the infamous assassination of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln.
Springfield 1863
All of the Union soldiers in the film are seen with Springfield 1863s with mounted bayonets.
Colt 1860 Army
Many of the Union soldiers carry Colt 1860 Armys as their sidearm.
Remington 1858 New Army
What appears to be a Remington 1858 New Army is seen on the ground of the battlefields of the Civil War.
Remington Model 1858 New Army Brass Frame
What appears to be a brass-framed Remington Model 1858 is used by Lewis Payne and some of Booth's accomplices. This brass frame model was used by Confederate forces during the war.
Unknown Revolver
A other unknown revolver (being a different model then the latter) is given to one of Booth's accomplices when the Union soldiers converges onto their hideout. In a flashback to John Surratt's meeting with Booth, Booth draws one out during a fight.
Sharps 1863 Carbine
A Sharps rifle, likely a Sharps 1863 Carbine, is seen being used by Booth while attempting to defend himself from the Union soldiers trying to arrest him, but is shot before being able to fire off a shot. Union soldiers are also equipped with it during the same scene. In a flashback, Lloyd is seen handing some to Booth's accomplices.
